Relations
I sometimes think of relations in patterns and shapes. The conversion seems almost natural to us in times of networking and dependencies and its opposites.
Painting those patterns I reach a deeper and clearer understanding of their consistence and meaning – it becomes a kind of meditation.
These works are simple geometrical constructions concerning interpersonal, semantic or cosmic relations. Though they visually are very universal, they all portray specific persons, groups, problems or situations with evolutions of attraction, domination, influence, authority, weakness etc.
